Many of the exercises in Deborah's books, classes and presentations are based upon NLP strategies. Using these same tools helped Deborah in parenting on own two children, both who were diagnosed with mental illness in their early teens. Deborah is a contributing writer to Chicken Soup of the Soul: Children With Special Needs. She is also currently writing children books that explain about different mental illnesses and how they affect the children and their families.
