本书以相关理论作指导，总结对外经济贸易大学(中国北京)图书馆处 理下架图书，特别是图书剔旧工作的具体实践的经验和教训，对高校图书馆 处理下架图书及图书剔旧工作提出工作建议。本书第一部分中论述了图书剔 旧工作的行政程序、图书剔旧项目的外包、图书剔旧需遵循的四原则和图书 剔旧可参考的相关信息等问题;第二部分中还特别罗列了图书剔旧外包项目 中所需的专门文件的模板，以期为兄弟院校开展该项工作提供有益参考。

Guided by the relevant theories, this book summarizes the experience and lessons of weeding the university library collection at the University of International Business and Economics (Bejing, China). The first part of the book discusses the administrative procedures for the collection weeding, the outsourcing of the project, the four principles of weeding, and the relevant weeding-related references. In the second part, a template for special documents required in outsourcing the weeding project is provided, which aims to provide a valuable reference for the weeding of library collections at similar academic institutions.
