The West Riding of Yorkshire, 1890: Steampunky fae detective tale in Victorian Yorkshire. Irish mythology set in the Industrial North with a deadly underwater gorge. Sisters Lucy and Annie discover their lineage to save West Yorks from an ancient threat.

Lucy and Annie have taken care of themselves since their parents died. Annie is an inventor, and Lucy helps her test the inventions in the name of cleaning up crime in their Victorian Yorkshire home. But a strange series of deaths will lead the young women on a journey to learn about themselves and their missing mother.
