In both medical and community settings, it is also the responsibility of nurses to promote health among individuals, families, and communities. Nurses are involved in patient advocacy, management, health care research, and policymaking. Individuals, families, and communities receive primary health care and specialty services independently from nurses with post baccalaureate preparation.
