Description
The current structure of nursing education
Higher education-based nurse education is characterized by a tension between theory and practice, making it a constantly evolving and multifaceted field. Nurse educators, like educators in all clinical and practice-based fields, must strike a balance between theoretical content and practical application. As a result, nursing instructors are frequently pressured to contextualize and make the theoretical material they teach meaningful and engaging for students to explicitly map the connection between course content and practical application.
