Description

This book is a written form of an allegorical mushaira based on the long journey of Urdu ghazal. This mushaira has been performed on stage multiple times in an effort to delight Urdu enthusiasts as well as illustrate the various stages of the genesis, development, and ascent of the Urdu ghazal via the use of notable poets from that era. It has also served to draw attention to the mushairas' vanishing culture.
