About the Author
Oki ... welcome to our book of love and comfort foods. As a child, I have always loved food, and where food was, I wasn't far. My aunt, Cynthia, grandparents Rosaline and Louis were the cooks in our family. This book of comfort food is in loving memory of them, cooking their favorite foods comforts me. I've lived in the city for 12 years now and when I miss my sweet angels, I cook my heart and soul out. When I need assistance, I ask my mom, who fills in the blanks of the recipes. Paul is the business side of our company, he is also learning my ways of cooking. We have combined my First Nations culture with traditional English cooking ... and here is our creation. I hope you all enjoy! -- Shantel & Paul
