The Manual consists of 12 units and each unit may include: - Vocabulary - the new vocabulary is introduced with pictures, followed by excercises, or through dialogues and texts; - Grammar - the main grammar rules are given in the form of tables and model structures, followed by exercises; - Dialogues and short texts - the language competencies are presented through dialogues and short texts; - Text - the new vocabulary and grammar is included as well as some additional words related to the topic of the unit. At the end of the Manual learners will find four appendixes: - Culture notes - some information about Bulgarian culture and lifestyle; - Wordlist - the new vocabulary translated into English; - List of verbs used with short direct and/or indirect object pronouns; - List of verbs by group of conjugation in Past simple tense. In addition to the Manual, learners can use the Workbook which includes exercises with an answer key for practicing the new vocabulary, grammar and language competencies presented in the units as well as some new dialogues and short texts. The first part of the workbook has review excercises for A1 vocabulary and grammar. They would be especially useful for students who used another manual for level A1.
