About the Author


Irene Nielsen, PsyD has merged historical performance experiences, Humanistic support theories, and standard positive psychological assessment tools to create the Institute for preparing Historical first-person performers in the story-telling discipline. As a life long learner, Dr. Nielsen demonstrates inter-disciplinary experiences and makes creative contributions for both teaching and performing. Dr. Nielsen regularly performs as authentic stories of women who challenged and changed history. Research of the historical personality coupled with storytelling skills has channeled authentic, historical personalities for appreciated "edutainment" since 2012 at www.historical-echoes.com. As a University professor, Dr. Nielsen continues to explore relevant historical and psychological research. She continues to learn and perform while she is dedicated to mentoring students to the authentic Historical first-person storytelling art form.
