"Conversation Station" is a set of Lesson Plans designed to encourage the development of critical thinking skills.

Vocabulary terms begin on page 97. Lessons are designed to provoke lively, fact-based, gently challenging

conversations. There are no formal tests requiring specific responses. All conversations are encouraged to

be interactive, . In these presentations, ote memorization of specific data which can simply be 'copied' igives way to active consideration of ideas as presented in discussions.
