Description

The kid-friendly horror series returns with all-new stories for a new generation, bringing the terrifying world of R.L. Stine to graphic novel form!

All the kids in Beaver Creek, Oregon, know that the old Whaley House is probably haunted, so when young tech entrepreneur Veruca Curry moves in, the kids fear that there's more to her than meets the eye. The adults in town think that Veruca is just the sort of hip, young new blood that Beaver Creek needs, but Rosie, a loner who loves anime and Japanese comics, Carlos, a popular preppy boy, and Becca, the school's star athlete find out the terrible truth -- Veruca is a witch, and she's got a terrible plan that could destroy Beaver Creek unless they can stop her.

About the Author

Denton J. Tipton is a New York Times best-selling graphic novelist and a senior editor at IDW Publishing. His credits include Transformers, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Orphan Black: Helsinki, and The X-Files. A former newspaper journalist, his literary influences include Hunter S. Thompson, Ernest Hemingway, Dashiell Hammett, Elmore Leonard, and Philip K. Dick. He lives in San Diego with his wife, Merrily, and his best friend Buster.

Matthew Dow Smith is a writer and comic book artist on projects such as The X-Files, The October Girl, Batman '66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel, and many more.

When he's not watching entirely too much Star Trek, Chris Fenoglio is an artist, colorist, designer, and teacher of all things comic book. He can also muddle around enough on guitar to only be mostly annoying. He has worked on big franchises like X-Files and Orphan Black, as well as his personal projects, such as his webcomic Chris & Christina. He lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife (who also watches a lot of Star Trek.)

Praise For…

"One of the things I like best about the latest Goosebumps comics is how they're being modernized to include today's technology, and this series involves a witch who has done just that herself, to the displeasure of other witches. Her grimoire is on a tablet and she complains that other witches don't even know how to use smart phones! ... This and the other Goosebumps comics are also featuring a more diverse cast." -Sheena McNeil, Sequential Tart
