This book lists approximately 2,000 persons by age, station, occupation, residence in Scotland, destination in America, and reasons for emigrating. Ports of entry in the US were: New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Wilmington, NC; Savannah, GA; Charleston, SC; and ST. Johns Island. This work is of great value in bridging the Atlantic during the years of 1774-1775.
