Readers will learn about the types of gear that are needed to spear game fish such as pole and hand spears, pneumatic and band-powered spear guns, and the Hawaiian sling. Different types of spear fishing are examined such as scuba, ocean, freedive, and freshwater as are popular game fish such as grouper, tuna, mackerel, shark, and marlin.
