Derrick Drakeford, Ph.D. is the CEO of Drakeford, Scott, & Associates L.L.C. (www.drakefordassociates.org). The DSA team has raised over $45,253,000 in grants. Derrick has served as an Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel-Hill. Derrick is a former faculty member of North Carolina Central University in the Masters in Public Administration program. He also served as the Director of Freshmen Studies and Community Service at The Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. He holds a Bachelors in political science from Bethune-Cookman University, a Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Government. He holds a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work; and certificates in Proposal Writing and Fundraising for Nonprofits from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana -Purdue University. Derrick received his Ph.D, from UNC-Chapel Hill. Mrs. Sheba Lowe Brown, M.A.T. is the founder of APlus Test Prep (aplushigherschores.com). She received her Bachelors and Masters in Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sheba has served as a Test Prep Instructor at Duke University, NC State, and Wake County Public Schools.
