About the Author


Robert Rodgers, PhD, is the founder of Parkinsons Recovery which provides information, support and resources about natural treatment options that are helping people with Parkinson's disease reverse their symptoms. Cheryl was born a New Yorker and lived on Long Island until she was 19. In 1984 she moved to Long Beach, CA. Cheryl graduated from Long Beach State University with a BA in Sociology and worked in the car business for 20 years. She started seeing her first symptoms of Parkinson's October of 2000 and was diagnosed January, 2002. Cheryl gave birth to her second child Jan 2003. She nursed her son for 18 months until July 2004 when she was so sick from the symptoms of Parkinson's she had to stop nursing and began taking Parkinson's medication. Today she is a proud stay-at-home-mother of Sophie, age 11 and Luke age 8. As Cheryl so eloquently puts it - she has a lot to take care of and does not have time for Parkinson's.
