Dr. Mark Lee Levine is one of the foremost experts in the United States on Code Section 1031 Exchanges, having written numerous articles in the field, published books on the topic, testified in cases on 1031 issues, taught courses on Exchange topics for over 40 years, practiced law in the field of real estate tax, and acted as a broker and consultant in this important area of tax planning. Dr. Levine, BS, JD, PAP, Ph.D., LLM, is a full professor and has been at the University of Denver since 1975. He served as director of the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at University of Denver's Daniels College of Business for close to 20 years.
