Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, I experienced many things growing up and dealing with my mother and her issues really inspired me to write this book. Based on actual events which occurred during my high school years, I felt the need to write this book to maybe inspire others or just give people a sense of hope who may be dealing with anything in their life.
