The history of the Kolach and the history of poppy seed add to this informative cookbook.I hope you enjoy our Czech family culinary traditions.

LaVina's Czech heritage comes from both parents since both have ancestors that imigrated from Bohemia in the mid-1800's. She has included many recipes which list the family member that is responsible for making the dish a tradition. LaVina wants this cookbook to be a record to pass onto future generations so these delicious traditions can continue. Dobre Noc!
