Her frustration led to despair and ultimately to the temple where she poured her heart out to God. He heard her and answered. Samuel, the child born in answer to prayer, was dedicated to God from a very young age. Although the priests under whom Samuel studied were corrupt, Hannah trusted God with her son. Samuel became a prophet and king-maker for the nation of Israel. Hannah's prayer legacy was substantial.
