Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are opening up exciting new applications in the area of lighting and displays. About the Author


Alastair Buckley is Lecturer in Physics at the University of Sheffield, UK. His research focuses on understanding and applying the intrinsic advantages of functional organic materials to a wide range of optoelectronic devices.
