Myer Pearlman es de descendencia judia, nacio en Edimburgo. A los catorce anos se licencio en Frances sirvio de interprete del ejercito de Estados Unidos durante la Primera Guerra Mundial en Francia. En l915 emigro a Nueva York, se convirtio al evangelio y recibio el bautismo del Espiritu Santo. En l927 se graduo en el Instituto Biblico de Springfield, Missouri, y en ese mismo ano se unio a su facultad. En l927 se caso con Irene Graves. Fue un gran teologo que dedico gran parte de su vida a la ensenanza y dejo un gran legado en sus libros."
