About the Author


The late Neil Shafer was a professional numismatic cataloger and author for more than 50 years and was inducted into the American Numismatic Association and the International Bank Note Society Halls of Fame. He also wrote for Bank Note Reporter. Tom Sheehan is a longtime coin collector and an avid researcher of Washington State numismatics who studies and collects panic scrip. Fred Reed has been an editor of both Paper Money and Coin World magazines. He lives in Dallas.
