Meet Chipo - a young Zimbabwean girl - as she takes you on a journey of her new life in America on her first day of school, and a reflection of her upbringing in Zimbabwe. Chipo shares the joys and struggles of new adventures, as well as discovering the differences and similarities between her past and present. With the support of her family, and a great sense of belief in herself, Chipo is sure to win the hearts of those around her, and go on to accomplish great things.

As a child, author Mutsa Majero had a very vivid imagination, and a strong interest in reading and writing - all of which kept her out of a great deal of trouble! Her passion for writing multicultural children's books is fueled by her love of education, cross-cultural issues, and working with children. Mutsa was born and raised in Zimbabwe, and currently lives in America. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology, and is currently working on her Ph.D. in International Psychology.
