About the Author

Dr Simchi-Levi is the coauthor of The Logic of Logistics, a book describing the theory behind logistics and supply chain management. Philip Kaminsky, Ph.D., is an associate professor of industrial engineering at the University of California at Berkeley and a globally renowned consultant in supply chain and production management. Edith Simchi-Levi is a co-founder and vice president of operations for Logic Tools, Inc. She has extensive experience in software development as well as logistics and supply chain management consulting.
